For those of you who were worried by all the change for the Matt Smith era, here's some pictures to cheer you up!

On the Leadworth Noticeboard (The town that the DW team have made Llandaff Green, Cardiff into for S5/1 filming) is the picture to the left, could it be the return of the Weeping Angels, last seen in Blink? Or just a red herring?
After seeing this picture, a lot of fans have been speculating about the relationship between Amy Pond and The Doctor. The photo looks as if there is some romantic tension between the two, maybe even as if they're about to kiss! Although a few fans think that this is just a shot of them talking.
Lots of exciting filming has been going on today. Most interesting is Matt Smith and Karen Gillan`s outfits.
Firstly, Matt Smith:
He was seen wearing the Tenth Doctor`s outfit (Trousers, shirt and tie - no suit) like we sort of saw in filming last week which confirms the rumour that this is episode one they are currently filming..
The outfit is heavily damaged and it appears he has been in some sort of explosion (The TARDIS?).

As for Karen Gillan, she was dressed as a policewoman.

However, it has been mentioned that police officers don`t tend to wear such short skirts and so it has been suggested that she may be a stripper rather than an officer.
Very exciting pictures!
Filming has been taking place at Llandaff Green over the last few days, and Alun_Vega has found us some big news! Below is a picture of Matt Smith (The Doctor) getting into a car.

Filming was at Neath Abbey today
You can see photos and read about it here.
Nothing exciting though.
There is also a newspaper report here:
DOCTOR Who’s cast and crew yesterday descended on ancient South Wales ruins.
The Time Lord’s flame-haired assistant, Karen Gillan, was spotted at Neath Abbey on Wednesday, flanked by two colleagues and wearing little more than a towelling dressing gown.
It appeared as though the crumbling site, which dates back to 1129 AD, had been transformed into a complete structure for the sci-fi show.
An onlooker told the Western Mail that giant windows were created out of grey “screens” and that extras – children wearing black robes or dirty clothes – were positioned inside.
Only Scottish actress Gillan, 21, who will play Amy Pond in the coming series of the drama, could be seen at the makeshift set. The Doctor, played by Matt Smith, was concealed by a security guard and large umbrella, the fan said.
Cast from the hit BBC Wales programme are expected to return to the former friary later today.
Hear Matt Smith speak as The Doctor Here! Alun.Vega audio recorded this at the scene in Jacobs Antiques Center, Cardiff, August 28 2009.

Doctor Who: The Writers Tale was first published in autumn 2008, it is now being revised and updated for a paperback version!
When The Writer's Tale was published in autumn 2008, it was immediately embraced as a classic. For this extensively revised and updated paperback edition, Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook continue their candid and in-depth correspondence to take in work on the last of Russell's 2009 specials - and the end of David Tennant's era as The Doctor - while also looking back to the achievements of the first three seasons. With over 300 pages of all-new material, including new photos and original artwork, The Writer's Tale is a fitting tribute to Russell T Davies' phenomenal achievement in bringing Doctor Who back for a new generation of fans.

And on a side note, filming of Doctor Who is currently taking place at Clearwell Caves where they have previously filmed The Christmas Invasion and The Satan Pit.
This is from their website:
Please be aware that from Tuesday 28th July until next week, the BBC are filming here for the new Dr Who series. Visitors are welcome, but areas through the Caves will be altered with scenery for the filming. We apologise to visitors for any disruption during this period and we will be completely back to normal by Monday10th August.
Typical. First they film at the Forest of Dean which is 40 minutes from where I live and now here which is 50 minutes from where I live but I have no way of getting there :(
It's a nice place though. I used to go there every Christmas Eve.
Yesterday, they went back to the beach for filming and we`ve got some great pictures (Click to enlarge):
River Song in handcuffs there!
But the most interesting picture is this:
Take a look at that sign on the floor.
Can`t see it?
Take a look at this enhanced image (Thanks to Life, Doctor Who & Combom):
"Byzantium"`
Now, back in Silence in the Library, River Song said to The Doctor:
OK, shall we do diaries, then? Where are we this time? Uh, going by your face, I'd say its early days for you. Yes? So, um... (she flips pages in the book) Crash of the Byzantium, have we done that yet?
So this is obviously the Crash of the Byzantium!
How exciting!

I`d just like to thank my laptop for freezing and making that post take half an hour to type -_-
Someone else was at yesterdays filming who we didn`t know about.
Yes, Steven Moffat himself was there to see his era begin.
--
Also, I`ve found a theory on the internet about the filming yesterday.
What if the Sea Devils are back?
They`re filming on a beach after all.
Some believe that this is true and that the metal junk is a crashed spaceship.
What do you think?

An interview with Lizo about the filming of Series Five was shown last night.
You can view it here:
And the filming was briefly mentioned on Newsround:

The Sonic Screwdriver can now be added to the list of changes in Series Five
What else can that be other than the Sonic Screwdriver? If you have a suggestion please leave a comment.
Surely if they were going to change it they should change it to River Song's sonic.
This just doesn't feel like the same show anymore.
First of all, we have three more pictures from yesterday.
Also, I have found out that today's filming will take place in the Forest of Dean but we're not sure where abouts in the Forest of Dean. This will make it harder for set reporters to find the filming but if they do and pictures are taken, we'll have them.
You don't need to look further than this blog.
More news as and when we get it.

Typical. The Forest of Dean is only 40 minutes by car from where I live but my Dad is at work and my Mum doesn't drive.
Could of actually seen Doctor Who being filmed otherwise (and asked about that TARDIS).
